Aishwarya Rai celebrated her birthday on 1st November. Amid divorce rumours with Abhishek Bachchan, none of the Bachchan family members including her husband, Amitabh Bachchan or Shweta Bachchan wished Ash on her special day.

While this gesture from the Bachchan family irked fans, an old tweet of Big B has gone viral on Reddit, where the megastar not only thanked fans for their warm wishes for her daughter-in-law but also shared glimpses into how the family celebrated the big day.

The tweet of Big B from 2010 read, “T172 -First things first … thank you all for wishing Aishwarya on her birthday !! Have passed it on to her.. she thanks all … love.”

In another tweet, he wrote, “T171 -….family dinner at Chinese in Taj where function was held … and brought in Aishwarya Birthday ..good feel about the day..”

Abhishek and Aishwarya tied the knot on April 20, 2007 and welcomed their daughter Aaradhya Bachchan on November 16, 2011.
