Before her marriage into the Bachchan family, Aishwarya had worked with her now father-in-law, Amitabh Bachchan, in several films. One such project was the 2004 film Khakee, where a serious accident nearly took place on set, putting Aishwarya’s life at risk.

The incident occurred during the film’s shooting in 2003 when a stuntman accidentally drove a car into Aishwarya, who was sitting in a chair. She was severely injured and had to be rushed to the hospital immediately. Amitabh Bachchan, who was also part of the cast, was deeply concerned about her well-being.

In an interview, Amitabh Bachchan revealed how the media had sensationalized the accident, which greatly troubled him. He shared that after Aishwarya was taken to a private hospital in Nashik, he reached out to her mother to ask if they should take Aishwarya back to Mumbai for better treatment.

Arrangements were made to transport Aishwarya via Anil Ambani’s private jet since night landings in Nashik were not possible. Permission had to be secured from Delhi to land at a military base, which was about 45 minutes away from the hospital. Amitabh Bachchan was visibly shaken by the incident and expressed his concern for Aishwarya, coordinating her safe return to Mumbai.

This incident highlighted the strong bond Aishwarya had with Amitabh even before her marriage to Abhishek Bachchan. Despite the ongoing rumors about trouble in the Bachchan household, no official statements have been made by either Aishwarya or Abhishek regarding their personal lives.
