Abhishek-Aishwarya Divorce: For several months now, reports have claimed that Abhishek Bachchan and his wife Aishwarya Rai have not been well. Social media activity and public appearances have fuelled rumours of a feud between the couple and in extension among the Bachchan family. Amidst this, a fake video of the Dhoom actor seemingly confirming his divorce is now viral online. However, several social media users have pointed out that the video is fake and has been created using AI tools.

In a viral video shared by a self-proclaimed fan account, Abhishek Bachchan can be seen announcing his divorce from Aishwarya Rai. The actor even mentions his daughter – Aaradhya Bachchan in the video. Confirming the news he says, “..This July, Aishwarya and I have decided to get divorced.”

However, the authenticity of the video remains uncertain. Social media users have pointed out that sync in the video is not right and therefore claimed it to be false. Abhishek and Aishwarya have maintained their silence on the matter till now and continue to do so. The video raises alarm about the misuse of Artificial Intelligence technologies. Some users have also pointed out that the video is old from a time when the actor was talking about some school and a new voice has been superimposed on it.

Rumours have been rife about a rift in Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan’s marriage. Even though the speculations may have died down in the past few weeks, the hearsay reignited once again as Aishwarya skipped a joint appearance with the Bachchan family, who showed up in full strength, at Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s wedding in Mumbai on July 12.
