Raveena Tandon in talks to play a s*xy role in Pati Patni Aur Woh 2; Redditors say “Kartik Aaryan is really ticking of his childhood crush list”

As per reports, Raveena Tandon is in talks to play a key role in Kartik Aaryan and Bhumi Pednekar starrer Pati Patni Aur Woh.

Raveena Tandon made a strong comeback in 2022 with her remarkable performance in K.G.F: Chapter 2, reaffirming her presence in the film industry. Following the blockbuster’s success, she is set to reunite with Akshay Kumar in the comedy-drama Welcome To The Jungle. Reports also suggest that Raveena is in advanced talks to play a significant role in Pati Patni Aur Woh 2 alongside Kartik Aaryan.

Released in 2019, Pati Patni Aur Woh was a remake of the 1978 film of the same name starring Sanjeev Kumar, Vidya Sinha, and Ranjeeta Kaur. While the original was directed and produced by B.R. Chopra, its remake was helmed by Mudassar Aziz and featured Kartik Aaryan, Bhumi Pednekar, and Ananya Panday.

According to a report by Bollywood Hungama, a source close to the development stated, “Raveena Tandon is in advanced talks with Mudassar Aziz for Pati Patni Aur Woh 2. She has been offered a s*xy role in the sequel to this comic caper, and is very excited to sign on for the film.”

They further added, “It’s Raveena’s character that leads to the confusion in the life of the leading hero – Kartik Aaryan. We shall get a clear picture on her doing the film by January 2025.”

Pati Patni Aur Woh 2 is currently in the scripting phase and is expected to begin production in the summer of 2025. The source also said that following Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, Kartik Aaryan is set to focus on this sequel as another major franchise under his belt, recognizing the significant impact franchises have on modern box office success. Alongside Raveena Tandon, the film will feature Bhumi Pednekar reprising her role as the Patni, similar to the first instalment.
