Shatrughan Sinha threw a lavish bash in honour of the doctors who treated him at the Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital on Sunday in Mumbai. But what made the party special was the surprise presence of Shotgun’s one-time ‘rival’ Amitabh Bachchan.

The duo bonded well at the party and was spotted chatting and joking. And Big B was not alone in making the event memorable for his co-star in films such asKaala Patthar. Bachchan was accompanied by his son Abhishek Bachchan and daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai.

Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group chairman Anil Ambani along with wife Tina was also present. “The party was organised for all the doctors who looked after Mr Sinha when he was recently admitted to the hospital,” a source said. Shatrughan underwent a coronary bypass surgery in July.

Sonakshi Sinha, brother Luv Sinha along with mother Poonam Sinha reached the venue early enough to play perfect hosts for the evening. Sanjay Dutt, who is sporting an arched moustache, was dressed in a white kurta for the party and was seen chatting with Luv.

Akshay Kumar, who is donning a salt and pepper French beard, was also seen at the do. However, Salman Khan, who is close to the Sinhas was conspicuously missing. But his younger brother Sohail Khan was among the first few guests.
