The auspicious occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi was celebrated with much fervor by the Khan family. Salman Khan’s sister, Arpita Sharma, welcomed Lord Ganesha to her new home in Worli, and the entire family came together to honor the deity.

For the next one and a half days, Arpita and her husband Aayush devotedly served Lord Ganesha. The atmosphere was filled with devotion and joy as the family celebrated the festival.

On the night of Anant Chaturdashi, it was time to bid farewell to Lord Ganesha. The visarjan (immersion) took place at Salman Khan’s home, Galaxy Apartments, with a grand procession accompanied by dhol, nagades, and much fanfare.

Many Bollywood celebrities joined the Khan family for the visarjan, adding to the festive atmosphere. The arrangements for the visarjan were made in the compound of Galaxy Apartments, and the sounds of dhol, nagades, and chants of “Ganpati Bappa Morya” echoed through the air.

Salman Khan couldn’t resist joining the festivities and started dancing to the beats of dhol, nagades. His nephews and nieces, Aayan Nirvan, Alizeh, and Arhaan, were also seen dancing, and Salman couldn’t help but join them.

Before the visarjan, the aarti of Lord Ganesha was performed. Each member of the Khan family, with tears in their eyes and devotion in their hearts, performed the aarti, took Lord Ganesha’s blessings, and promised to return soon next year.

Finally, the time came to bid farewell to the deity. With heavy hearts, the family members immersed their small Ganpati in a tub filled with water and then bid adieu to the big Ganpati. Salman Khan, in particular, expressed his sadness at parting ways with Lord Ganesha and promised to return soon next year.
