In an interview given to Zoom TV, Salman Khan’s ex-girlfriend Somi Ali Khan told that Somi was in a relationship with him before Aishwarya. Somi and Salman were in a relationship from 1991 to 1999, but after the film ‘Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam’, distance started coming in this relationship.

In her interview to Zoom, Somi told that during the shooting of the film ‘Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam’, she called Salman, but he did not pick up her call. After this, she called Sanjay Leela Bhansali. He picked up Somi’s call.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali told her, Salman cannot talk to you right now. He is in a shot right now. On this Somi questioned that if he is in the shot, then why are you not directing the film? Then why are you picking up my call? After listening to this logic of hers, Sanjay Leela Bhansali had no answer left.

In the interview, Somi told that Aishwarya Rai started visiting Salman’s gym in his Galaxy apartment. At that time Salman used to live on the ground floor. Somi told that the love story of these two started during the shooting of Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam.

The actress said that she came to know about their love story from the servants inside. She took Somi’s side. Somi says that I had already known that he would leave me for Aishwarya.

In 2002, Aishwarya Rai revealed about her breakup with Salman. The actress told in the interview that she supported Salman even in his bad times, but he behaved disrespectfully with her.

Aishwarya also revealed in her interview that when she stopped picking up Salman’s calls, he started harassing her and hurting himself. Due to these reasons, she ended her relationship with Salman.
