Sonam Kapoor wrote, ‘Dear Gudda, my heart is deeply saddened to hear the news of your demise. I have had the privilege of being with you, wearing your designed clothes and walking the ramp for you many times, for which I consider myself very lucky. May your soul rest in peace. I have always been a big fan of yours’. Apart from this, Ananya Pandey also shared a photo with Rohit Bal from an event and wrote, ‘Gudda Om Shanti’. Fashion designer Manish Malhotra called Rohit Bal’s death ‘sad and shocking’.

FDCI also expressed condolences on the death of the designer 

Apart from this, the Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI) also expressed condolences on its Instagram by paying tribute to the famous designer Rohit Bal. He wrote that Rohit Bal, who was a founding member of FDCI, gave a new identity to Indian fashion by presenting traditional design in a modern way. His art, new experiments and vision have left an indelible mark in the fashion world. Paying tribute to him, FDCI said, ‘You were a true legend, Gudda. Rest in peace’. Rohit was suffering from heart disease, for which he was undergoing treatment.
