Rivaba Jadeja Shastra Puja: On the occasion of Dussehra, Rivaba, wife of Indian cricket team’s key all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja, performed Shastra Puja, which included the worship of sword and gun. Jadeja is fond of waving the sword, which he often displays after scoring a century or fifty.

New Delhi: On the occasion of Dussehra, weapon worship is done. According to Ramayana, on this day Lord Shri Ram freed Sita Mata by killing Ravana. This day is also known as Vijayadashmi. On this day, along with the worship of Lord Ram, weapon worship is also done as per rituals. Indian team all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja’s wife Rivaba worshipped the sword as well as the pistol on this occasion.

Ravindra Jadeja’s wife Rivaba Jadeja is an MLA. She filed nomination on a BJP ticket from Jamnagar North in the 2022 assembly elections. She won there and became an MLA. She has graduated in Mechanical Engineering from Gujarat Technological University. Rivaba has started an NGO named Shri Matrushakti Charitable Trust to help women and empower them.
