The makers of Sikandar are pulling all stops to make the film a blockbuster hit. According to latest reports, a grand festive numbers is in the pipeline and the lead couple, Salman Khan and Rashmika Mandanna, are expected to match steps in style.

Directed by AR Murugadoss, Sikandar went on floors in June this year and the team has been reportedly shooting for action sequences since then.

However, making a shift in the mood, a vibrant number is in the works. According to mid-day, the song will feature 200 background dancers and portrays slum dwellers celebrating a festival. Rashmika reportedly joined the shoot on Thursday. In the number, Salman Khan will be dressed in a customized silver chain, earrings, a black vest, and a full-sleeved shirt paired with denims, while Rashmika will don a traditional salwar kameez. The report further stated that Murugadoss has almost completed filming the song and plans to move on to action scenes by the weekend.
The Mumbai schedule of Sikandar is expected to continue until October and the team will then travel to Europe to shoot for two more romantic songs. According to reports, the film features Salman Khan in the role of a businessman who is both a compassionate philanthropist and a former ‘Dabang’. Apart from the lead couple, Sikandar also reported features Sathyaraj and Kajal Aggarwal in pivotal roles. Sikandar is all set to hit the screens during Eid in 2025.

Apart from this, Salman Khan will also be seen in Tiger versus Pathaan, co-starring Shah Rukh Khan. The two Bollywood heavyweights are expected to deliver a box office bonanaza next year.

Sikandar, starring Salman Khan and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala with direction by AR Murugadoss, has been dominating the headlines. Now, according to a new report in Bollywood Hungama, leads Salman Khan and Rashmika Mandanna will head to Europe by the end of this year to shoot a few songs.

“Pritam has composed two chartbusters for Sikandar and producer Sajid Nadiadwala plans to shoot it on a big scale in Europe. The recce is presently underway and the exact locations will be locked soon. Sajid is confident to deliver a chartbuster album with Salman Khan and Pritam, yet again after Kick,” a source told the portal.

The source added that Sajid Nadiadwala also plans to shoot some key scenes in Europe, along with the two songs.”The schedule is being planned at the moment, but as promised before, Sikandar is the biggest film bankrolled by Sajid Nadiadwala till date. Salman Khan as Angry Young Man in a lavishly mounted action entertainer by AR Murugadoss,” the source further added.

A dance number and a romantic song are in order. The source added, “It’s a dance number and a romantic ballad.”

The film was announced this Eid and is slated for release next Eid. Not long back, Pinkvilla exclusively reported that Salman Khan has resumed filming despite a rib injury, with a photo of him recently going viral on social media. According to the portal, the film’s team is currently working on a meticulously designed set depicting Dharavi and Matunga, costing around Rs 15 crore. The shooting schedule will last 45 days before the crew moves to a palace in Hyderabad for the next phase. Despite his injury, Salman Khan is committed to his role and performing with full dedication.

Sikandar also represents AR Murugadoss’s highly anticipated return to Hindi cinema after an eight-year hiatus following Akira (2016). This film also reunites Salman Khan with producer Sajid Nadiadwala, a duo known for their blockbuster successes such as Kick, Judwaa, and Mujhse Shaadi Karogi.
