A film festival is being organized from December 13 to 15 in honor of Raj Kapoor, one of the most iconic figures of Indian cinema. In this episode, the Kapoor family met PM Modi. Kareena Kapoor has expressed her happiness by sharing pictures of this special moment.

Kareena, Saif, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Neetu Kapoor, Karisma Kapoor and other family members attended the meeting in Delhi. Sharing some adorable pictures of the meeting on social media, Kareena wrote- “We are extremely humbled and honoured to be invited by the Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi to celebrate the extraordinary life and legacy of our grandfather, the great Raj Kapoor. Thank you Shri Modiji for this special afternoon. Your warmth, attention and support in celebrating this milestone means a lot to us.”

However, the most striking thing about this post was Kareena asking the PM for an autograph for her sons Taimur and Jeh. The Prime Minister humbly wrote “Tim and Jeh” on a piece of paper, a gesture that left fans on social media delighted.

In these pictures, the Kapoor family is seen interacting with PM Modi. Kareena also shared information about the Raj Kapoor 100 Film Festival, which will run from December 13 to 15, 2024. The festival will screen 10 iconic Raj Kapoor films in 40 cities and 135 theaters, with tickets priced at Rs 100.

The announcement of the film festival, which includes screenings of classic films like ‘Aag’, ‘Barsaat’, ‘Awaara’, ‘Shree 420’ and ‘Mera Naam Joker’, has created excitement among cinema lovers. These films, restored for the modern audience, will be screened at PVR-INOX and Cinepolis theatres across India.
