Aishwarya Rai’s sister-in-law Shrima denies using actor’s name for her business

Actor Aishwaray Rai Bachchan’s sister-in-law, Shrima Rai, is a content creator and a former beauty pageant winner. In a new post on Instagram, she addressed those accusing her of using the actor’s name for professional gains.

Actor Aishwarya Rai’s sister-in-law Shrima Rai shared a big note on Instagram, clarifying that she never used the actor’s name to get any business deal or promote herself in the market. Her note came days after a Reddit user accused Shrima of ‘misusing Aishwarya’s name for some business’ in a viral post.

Without taking Aishwarya’s name, she addressed the same speculations and shared her entire qualifications, establishing herself as a self-made person. Shrima denied the allegations in a post on Thursday, November 28, and clearly stated ‘I have NEVER tried to open any business with anyone’s name’. She also responded to those trolling her for posting the picture of the flower bouquet sent by Shweta Nanda to her on her birthday.

A part of her post on Instagram read, “My birthday was November 21 and, as usual flowers were sent. I thanked everyone with a shout-out. Before I became a blogger/ content creator I was a banker in Wealth Management for several years. I have also been a Gladrags Mrs. India Globe 2009. Post 2017, I transitioned into blogging. I have NEVER tried to open any business with anyone’s name (sic).”

She added, “I am clarifying things because these are facts. I have built an independent career as a content creator for years on my own and as a woman I find it in poor taste of anyone to try to tear that fact down. For this, my husband, mother-in-law and parents can vouch for that. As a mother, it is extremely important to me that facts are clear when my name is involved (sic).”

The viral Reddit post that is being considered the basis of Shrima’s outburst read, “One Reddit comment on a thread that recently went viral, read, “Weren’t there rumours that she was misusing Aishwarya’s name for some business deals and Aish found out and all hell broke plus her bro and his wife were not living with Aish’s mother they had some problems (sic).”

Shrima is married to Aishwarya’s brother, Aditya Rai. The couple has two children. While Aishwarya has been under scrutiny for her dynamics with Abhishek Bachchan, her family is also often dragged into rumours about her alleged separation.
