On Tuesday, a 20-year-old man was arrested in Noida for issuing threats to Salman Khan and Bandra East NCP MLA Zeeshan Siddique, whose father and former Maharashtra Minister Baba Siddique was shot dead on October 12.

The accused, identified as Mohammad Tayyab, also demanded money from Zeeshan Siddique and Salman Khan.

This is not the first time that Salman Khan has received a death threat.

In 2022, a letter threatening the actor was found on a bench near his residence at Mumbai’s Galaxy Apartments in Bandra West.

The actor also got an email allegedly sent by gangster Goldy Brar in March 2023.

Earlier this year, two unknown people attempted to trespass into the actor’s farmhouse in Panvel using fake identities.

In April, suspected members of the Bishnoi gang had opened fire outside the actor’s Bandra home.

Recent Threats to Salman Khan

Salman Khan, a prominent Bollywood actor, has once again found himself at the center of a security threat.

On Wednesday, a man from Bandra, identified as Azam Mohammed Mustafa, was arrested for allegedly threatening to kill the actor and demanding a ransom of Rs 2 crore.

This incident follows a series of threats that the actor has received over the past few years.

In 2022, a letter containing threats was discovered near Salman Khan’s residence in Bandra West.

The following year, in March 2023, the actor received an email allegedly sent by gangster Goldy Brar.

These incidents, along with the recent arrest, highlight the persistent security concerns surrounding the actor.

A Pattern of Threats

The threats to Salman Khan appear to be part of a larger trend of targeting celebrities and public figures.

In October 2023, Zeeshan Siddique, a Bandra East NCP MLA, was also threatened by a 20-year-old man from Noida. The accused, Mohammad Tayyab, demanded money from both Siddique and Khan.

The Role of Organized Crime

The involvement of organized crime in these threats cannot be ruled out.

The Bishnoi gang, a notorious criminal organization, has been implicated in several attacks and threats against Salman Khan.

In April 2023, suspected gang members opened fire outside the actor’s Bandra home.

Increased Security Measures

In light of these escalating threats, Salman Khan has been forced to take additional security measures.

The Mumbai Police have increased their surveillance of the actor and his family. Additionally, the actor has hired private security guards to protect his residence and himself.

The recent incidents underscore the need for stricter laws and effective enforcement to combat organized crime and ensure the safety of public figures.

As investigations into these threats continue, it remains to be seen whether authorities will be able to bring the perpetrators to justice and prevent future attacks.
