Natasa Stankovic has officially announced her divorce from Hardik Pandya following months of rumors about trouble in their relationship. She shared a joint statement on Instagram, revealing that despite their best efforts, they decided to part ways. The couple emphasized their commitment to co-parenting their son, Agastya, to ensure his happiness.

“After four years of being together, Hardik and I have decided to mutually part ways.

We tried our best together and gave it our all, and we believe this is in the best interest for both of us. This was a tough decision for us to make, given the joy, mutual respect, and companionship we enjoyed together and as we grew a family.

We are blessed with Agastya, who will continue to be at the center of both our lives, and we will co-parent to ensure that we give him everything that we can for his happiness. We sincerely request your support and understanding to give us privacy during this difficult and sensitive time,” read the statement.

Speculations about their separation began when Natasa removed the ‘Pandya’ surname from her Instagram bio and deleted all her wedding pictures with Hardik. Natasa left Mumbai a few days ago with her son Agastya. She posted a picture of an empty road from her house in Serbia and used the hashtag #homesweethome in her post.

Natasa Stankovic, who has been at the center of heavy speculation regarding her marriage with cricketer Hardik Pandya, had previously taken to social media to address the issue of judgment. The actress and model’s silence on Team India’s T20 World Cup victory and her absence from congratulatory posts for Hardik have fueled divorce rumours.

In a reflective video posted to her Instagram Stories, Natasa spoke about the tendency of people to judge others without understanding their situations. “Sitting here and having my coffee, just had a random thought,” she began. “As people, how quick are we in judging? We see someone who is acting out of their character. We don’t slow down, we don’t observe, and we have no empathy. We straight jump into judging. We don’t know what has happened, what is behind the whole thing, the whole act, the whole situation. So let’s be less judgmental, observe more, have more empathy, and be patient with people.”

Prior to the divorce announcement, Natasa was spotted at the Mumbai airport early this week, reportedly heading back home to Serbia. She has since been sharing photos of Agastya on her Instagram stories. She also gave fans a glimpse of the view from her balcony, and captioned it as #HomeSweetHome.

Hardik and Natasa first met in early 2019. On January 1, 2020, Hardik and Natasa got engaged during a romantic yacht trip in Dubai. Shortly after their engagement, the couple had an intimate wedding ceremony, keeping the event private due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In July 2020, Hardik and Natasa welcomed their first child, a baby boy named Agastya.

After the announcement, Natasa has left for her hometown in Serbia. She had shared glimpses from there as she played with son Agastya, cycled and worked out at the gym!
