Shweta Bachchan shared a marriage advise for her sister-in-law Aishwarya Rai shortly after she married her brother Abhishek. The video from the second season of KWK has been doing rounds on social media.

The Bachchan family has never held back when it comes to showing off how much they love and respect one another. One such instance was when Jaya and Shweta Bachchan were called to advise Aishwarya Rai on marriage soon after tying the knot with Abhishek. In the second season of Koffee With Karan, the mother-daughter team made an appearance together. They were joined by Hema Malini and her daughter Esha Deol. The filmmaker invited the Bachchan ladies to offer advice to Aishwarya Rai on marriage.

Shweta Bachchan stated in a Reddit clip from the program that Aishwarya doesn’t require marriage advice. “She is perfect, I don’t think we need to give her anything. And she has immense patience which is going to take her really face. She is fine, she doesn’t need any (advice), ” she said.

Many users find the video rather surprising and lauded mother-daughter for praising Aishwarya. One of the users wrote, “I think something happened between Aish and Shweta and neither of them is a victim. I don’t think Shweta is a villain just because. Things change, times change, people change. Maybe their relationship changed too. Maybe both of them did a little bit of something. Can’t say the same for Jaya ji though.” Another user said, “I always root for Aishwarya but you know- we don’t know what happens behind close doors. People have different sides to them and we don’t really know who these people actually are.” The third user commented, “People are ignoring all the good things Shweta has said about Aishwarya and making her a villain, just because of a seconds long clip from a wedding reception.”

Amid rumours about Abhishek and Aishwarya’s divorce, the latter was vacationing in New York with her daughter Aaradhya. Her daughter also accompanied her to international fashion events and award shows. However, Abhishek made waves when he the news about his role in the Shah Rukh Khan film ‘King‘ went viral. He will play the antagonist in the film, which also stars Suhana Khan and Abhay Verma.
