In a shocking and unfortunate turn of events, Navjot Singh Sidhu’s wife, Dr. Navjot Kaur Sidhu, has been served with a legal notice demanding a whopping Rs 850 crore in compensation. The notice comes in response to her controversial claims about a cancer cure treatment, which has sparked significant backlash.

Dr. Navjot Kaur Sidhu, who is a former MLA and a prominent public figure, had earlier made statements claiming to have found a potential cure for cancer. These claims, which were promoted as groundbreaking, were met with widespread skepticism from the medical community and the public. The notice, which alleges misleading and fraudulent claims, has been issued by a group of individuals and organizations that are reportedly taking legal action against her for misleading the public and endangering lives by promoting unverified treatments.

The Rs 850 crore notice represents a compensation for potential damages caused by these statements, which many believe might have caused harm to patients seeking legitimate medical care. The case is now under investigation, and Dr. Sidhu’s claims are being scrutinized for their authenticity and legal implications.

This legal challenge comes as a major blow to the Sidhu family, who have been in the public eye for both their political and personal endeavors. Navjot Singh Sidhu, a former cricketer-turned-politician, has not yet commented on the issue, but his wife’s actions have brought significant attention to their personal and professional lives.

As the legal proceedings unfold, the public and media will be closely monitoring any updates, especially given the serious nature of the claims and the substantial financial notice. Dr. Sidhu’s reputation and career are now at the center of controversy, with many hoping that the truth will come to light in the coming weeks.

The Chhattisgarh Civil Society has issued a Rs 850 crore notice to Navjot Singh Sidhu’s wife after his claims that her cancer was cured through diet. The CCS labelled his statements as misleading and demanded evidence within seven days, warning of legal action. Medical professionals have strongly opposed these claims, citing the lack of scientific backing.
The Chhattisgarh Civil Society (CCS) has demanded an apology from Navjot Kaur Sidhu, wife of former cricketer and politician Navjot Singh Sidhu, following claims about her cancer treatment. Sidhu stated during a press conference that his wife’s cancer was cured through a diet of lemonade, raw turmeric, and neem.

On November 21, Sidhu announced at a news conference in Amritsar that his wife, Navjot Kaur Sidhu, had been deemed cancer-free, highlighting the importance of food and lifestyle modifications in her recuperation. With the caption, “Treatment + Diet – Great combination for Cancer cure!” he shared the press conference recordings.

The diet regimen was also given by the former chief of the Punjab Congress. Among other things, the diet plan called for lemon water, turmeric, apple cider vinegar, walnuts, beetroot, carrot, and amla juice. She ate neem leaves as well, but she cut off bread, dairy, and sugar from her diet,” he stated. Since then, Sidhu has been facing flak from social media users, cancer survivors, and medical fraternity alike.

The CCS issued a Rs 850 crore notice to Kaur, calling Sidhu’s statements “misleading” and “confusing.” CCS convener Dr. Kuldeep Solanki said, “It has the potential to create negativity in people’s minds towards allopathic medicine and treatment. It is compelling even cancer patients to leave the medication in between, which has increased their life risks.”

The CCS is demanding Kaur provide evidence supporting her husband’s claims within seven days. They also request a public clarification, arguing misleading information could harm other patients. Failure to comply could result in legal action. Doctors and others have criticized Sidhu’s claims, stating a lack of scientific evidence and emphasizing the importance of professional medical advice for cancer treatment.

Congress politician Navjot Singh Sidhu had earlier stated on Monday, in response to an oncologist’s questions, that the food plan was put into place after consulting with experts and should be regarded as “facilitation in the treatment.”
“I want to say that a doctor is like God to me, and doctors have always been my priority,” Sidhu stated in a video statement that was uploaded on X on Monday. Navjot Kaur Sidhu, my doctor, is at my house. All of our actions were carried out in a cooperative manner with medical consultation.
