Salman Khan has begun shooting of his upcoming film ‘Sikandar’. A picture of the actor from the sets has emerged online and has created a strong buzz. The film, directed by AR Murugadoss, will mark Salman’s first collaboration with the ‘Ghajini’ director. Touted to be an actioner, ‘Sikandar’ will hit theatres during Eid 2025.

Salman Khan announced the film’s title on Instagram on April 11 and shared its poster with the caption, “Iss Eid ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ aur ‘Maidaan’ ko dekho aur agli Eid Sikandar se aa kar Milo (Watch Bade Miyan Chote Miyan and Maidaan on this Eid, next Eid, meet Sikandar) Wish u all Eid Mubarak!”

‘Sikandar’ marks the reunion of Salman Khan and Sajid Nadiadwala after their blockbuster collaborations in films like ‘Kick’, ‘Judwaa’, and ‘Mujhse Shaadi Karogi’. Meanwhile, AR Murugadoss made his Hindi debut with ‘Ghajini’, which crossed Rs 100 crore at the box office. He also helmed Akshay Kumar’s film, ‘Holiday: A Soldier Is Never Off Duty’.

Actor Salman Khan began shooting for AR Murugadoss’ ‘Sikandar’ in June. Now, a few photos of the actor from the set are circulating on social media fan pages dedicated to Salman. Additionally, photos of Rashmika Mandanna, who plays the female lead in the movie, have surfaced on social media, presumably from the film’s set.

One of the photos features a silhouette resembling Salman Khan. He stands tall against a smoky backdrop, hinting at intense action sequences in the film.

Earlier, Salman had shared a behind-the-scenes picture from the first day of shooting on X. The team has confirmed an Eid 2025 release for this action-packed entertainer. “Looking forward to #Eid2025 with team #Sikandar #SajidNadiadwala’s #Sikandar. Directed by @ARMurugadoss (sic),” Salman wrote on X.

The shoot of ‘Sikandar’ began on June 19. The film stars Salman in the titular role. On Monday, Rashmika was seen arriving at the Mumbai airport, leading to speculations around her joining Salman on the set of Sikandar.
