Recent discussions surrounding Ranveer Singh’s career have sparked debates among fans and critics alike. While it’s undeniable that he has faced some challenges with his recent film releases, labeling his career as “finished” may be an overstatement.

Ranveer has built a strong foundation in Bollywood with his versatile roles and energetic performances. Despite some setbacks, he remains a beloved figure in the industry, known for his commitment to his craft and his vibrant personality. The entertainment world is often unpredictable, and actors can experience ups and downs in their careers.

After back-to-back flops, it was with Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani that Ranveer Singh finally tasted box office success.

Later, it was revealed that the actor has a massive lineup of films including Don 3 and Shaktimaan.

Unfortunately for the star, the OG Shaktimaan Mukesh Khannawasn’t happy with Ranveer Singh’s rumoured casting and rejected the actor by bashing him in a YouTube video and an Instagram post.

Though a day later, he deleted his post and the video but his apparent casting has courted huge controversy.

Despite the backlash, director Farhan Akhtar was unfazed and announced that the film will go on floors by mid-2024 for a 2025 release.

Don 3 is supposedly Farhan’s return to direction after over a decade but now a new report by Peepingmoon has claimed that the film has been delayed by the filmmaker as he once again wants to focus on his acting career.

According to industry sources, Farhan Akhtar has signed Dhaakad director Razneesh Razy Ghai’s upcoming action film as the lead star and he will soon begin filming for it.

And Don 3 has been pushed to the year’s end now.

Farhan along with Vikram Vedha director duo Pushkar-Gayatri are still in the process of finishing the script to make it worthy of a sequel to the previous Don films starring Shah Rukh Khan.

Notably, Farhan had earlier announced Jee Le Zara with Priyanka Chopra, Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt. But the film was put on hold and Don 3 was announced instead.

Since Don 3 is delayed, Ranveer will now immediately start working on Aditya Dhar’s gangster film Dhurandhar in July.

After wrapping up Dhurandhar, he is expected to begin his work on Don 3 by the end of the year.

Reportedly, post-Don 3, he will start filming for Shaktimaan in the first half of 2025. But, considering Mukesh Khanna is the co-producer there might be some trouble in the hood on that front.

For now, both the big franchises of Ranveer Singh – Don 3 and Shaktimaan are in the news for the wrong reasons.
