Kareena Kapoor shared that she was scared when the controversy around Taimur’s name aroused

It was after Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan welcomed their baby boy, Taimur, that they had to face a lot of criticism over the choice of their son’s name. In an old interview, Bebo revealed how people’s concern over her baby boy’s name had left her crying. In an old interview with Barkha Dutt, Kareena shared that she was extremely scared as a mom and as an individual about what was happening around Taimur’s name.

Kareena added that being a mom to her kid leaves her with the decision to name her kid, and thus, nobody should be concerned about the same. Talking about how Taimur was photographed from a young age, and it left her confused, Kareena said:

“It scarred me deeply as a person and as a mother. Because what I name my child and what I call him is completely my decision and nobody else’s concerned. It started in that note and then he was photographed everywhere, and I was like what is happening, because he was just a two-month-old baby, he had barely opened his eyes.”

Kareena Kapoor recalled crying when a person questioned Taimur’s name hours after his birth

Going forward in the interview, Kareena Kapoor Khan shared a heartwrenching incident soon after Taimur’s birth that left her teary-eyed. The actress said that only eight hours after Taimur’s birth, a famous person came to visit her in the hospital and then started showing his concern about her son’s name. Kareena stated that the famous person also asked the actress why she named her baby named Taimur. The actress also added that she was left crying after such an incident, and that person was asked to leave the hospital. Kareena was quoted as saying:

“There was a famous personality who actually had a ball to come to the hospital on the pretext of a visit and he congratulated me and then he said what’s with you, why would you name your son Taimur, I actually had delivered him just 8 hours ago, I started crying, and he was asked to leave.”

In an interview with India Today, Kareena Kapoor Khan was asked about a piece of advice to Alia Bhatt, as she would have to deal with the paparazzi culture. To this, Kareena said that people just need to learn to live with it and understand that the more one would run away the more difficult it would get. She also shared that she doesn’t have any problem with her sons being clicked, but she doesn’t understand why people click him all the time.

 

In the same interview, Kareena shared that her son, Taimur asked her why the paps click on him all the time, as he is not as famous as his parents. Kareena mentioned that she had told her kid that he has a long way to go. She also added that Taimur understands that, and every other one should understand it as well.
