In a recent interview, Deepika Padukone opened up about the joys and challenges of motherhood, sharing a lighthearted yet heartfelt revelation about how her baby girl, Dua, has kept her from focusing on daily chores. The actress, who welcomed her first child with husband Ranveer Singh earlier this year, spoke candidly about the delightful chaos of balancing her career with the responsibilities of being a new mother.

Deepika revealed that Dua‘s arrival has brought an overwhelming amount of joy, but also left her little time to attend to the everyday tasks she used to manage with ease. “I find myself constantly prioritizing Dua’s needs over everything else,” she said, laughing. “From feeding to playing with her, I barely have time for anything else!” The actress, known for her perfectionist nature, admitted that it’s been a humbling experience, one that has made her realize how motherhood shifts priorities.

Despite being one of the busiest stars in Bollywood, Deepika confessed that her daily routine has taken a backseat. She used to be a stickler for maintaining order at home, but now, her daughter’s adorable demands are at the forefront. “I’ve learned to let go of the pressure to keep everything in place,” she said, adding that Dua‘s presence has brought a new sense of joy and love to their home.

While motherhood is undoubtedly challenging, Deepika shared that she is enjoying every minute of this precious time, often finding herself so wrapped up in Dua’s milestones that housework feels like an afterthought. “It’s not just about keeping up with chores anymore—it’s about cherishing these moments with Dua while they last,” she noted.

Deepika’s candidness about the realities of motherhood has resonated with fans, as many new moms relate to her experience of prioritizing their child over other responsibilities. Her openness serves as a reminder that even celebrities have to navigate the beautiful chaos of parenthood and balance the demands of both career and family life.

When the actress was pregnant, she shared a post giving a peek into her dietary rules. Deepika took to Instagram, where she shared a collage of pancakes paired with whipped cream, brownie with ice cream and samosas.
The actress wrote, “Surprised to see this on my feed? Well, I eat! And I eat well! Ask anyone who knows me. So don’t believe anything else you might hear or read. The trick? Balance, Consistency and Listening to YOUR Body.”

Deepika further continued by explaining, “There seems to be a lot of misunderstanding around the word ‘Diet’. We often believe that ‘Diet’ means to starve, to eat less and to eat all of the things we detest. What ‘Diet’ really means is the total of all the food and drink consumed by an individual. The word actually comes from the Greek word “diaita,” which means “way of life.”
The actress emphasized the significance of maintaining a balanced diet, expressing her belief by stating, “I’ve always, as far back as I can recall, adhered to a ‘Balanced Diet’. It’s more than just a routine for me; it’s a way of life. I’ve never adopted diets that I can’t sustain or ones that are trendy fads.”

The picture had already won the internet as many celebrities and fans could not contain their excitement. Priyanka Chopra, Alia Bhatt, Malaika Arora, Rakul Preet Singh, Bhumi Pednekar, Aditi Rao Hydari, Hansika Motwani, Upasana Konidela, Arjun Kapoor, and more reacted to the picture by dropping love heart emojis and evil eye emojis.
Deepika’s sister Anisha Padukone was quick with her reply, “Mothering is the other thing 🤰🏽.”
Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh recently made an on-screen appearance together in Ajay Devgn’s starrer ‘Singham Again,’ and the Deepika-Ranveer duo’s cop version is winning the internet. Many showered love on Deepika’s entry in the police uniform, while Ranveer’s screen presence became the talk of the town. Directed by Rohit Shetty, it also features Arjun Kapoor, Karesma Kapoor Khan, and Akshay Kumar in key roles.
