Coinciding with the premiere of ‘Singham Again’, in which both actors play key parts, it is their first Diwali celebration with their newborn daughter.

This Diwali, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh thrilled fans by revealing her lovely name: Dua Padukone Singh. Fans have been waiting for their daughter’s glimpse for a long time, and the couple’s unexpected name announcement is sure to please.

Taking to Instagram, they posted a snap of their little daughter’s legs. The baby was dressed in a bright red ethnic outfit. In the caption, the new parents wrote her name and its meaning.

Deepika Padukone’s Maternity Break

In the meanwhile, Ranveer Singh has been busy with events like the trailer launch of ‘Singham Again’—a film that also stars Deepika. When asked why Deepika wasn’t there during the trailer launch, Ranveer revealed that she was busy with the baby. He said, “My duty to take care of the baby is in the night, hence I am here.”
