‘It is not…’: Nimrat Kaur finally breaks silence on her rumoured affair with Abhishek Bachchan amid his and Aishwarya Rai’s divorce reports

Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai’s relationship is under intense public scrutiny, with fans speculating that the couple may have already parted ways. However, neither of them has officially addressed the matter.

For the unversed, Abhishek was accused of cheating on Aishwarya with his Dasvi co-star, Nimrat Kaur, according to several reports. Amid the rumours and allegations, Nimrat has broken her silence on the matter, stating, “It is not possible to stop gossip.”

During an interview with The Times of India, Nimrat commented, “I could have done anything, and people would still say what they want. It is not possible to stop such gossip, and I prefer to focus on my work.”

Nimrat’s clarification came days after a Reddit post went viral, claiming that Abhishek was involved in an extramarital affair with her. Fans have also criticized Abhishek for allegedly not being loyal to his wife.

Meanwhile, rumours about Abhishek and Aishwarya’s divorce have been circulating widely. The speculation intensified after the entire Bachchan family was spotted at Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s wedding, but only Aishwarya and her daughter Aaradhya arrived later.

Even during the event, Aishwarya and her daughter were seen keeping a distance from the Bachchan family.

Several media reports also claim that Aishwarya is no longer living with her in-laws and has moved to her mother’s house with her daughter. Fans have speculated that differences between Aishwarya and Abhishek may have been influenced by Jaya Bachchan, who, according to rumours, never fully accepted Aishwarya as her daughter-in-law.

Amidst the divorce rumours, a video of Jaya Bachchan went viral, in which she was heard saying that Aishwarya is her daughter-in-law, not her daughter.

On the work front, Aishwarya was last seen in Mani Ratnam’s magnum opus Ponniyin Selvan: II. Abhishek, on the other hand, is gearing up for his next release, King, directed by Sujoy Ghosh. The movie also stars Shah Rukh Khan and his daughter, Suhana Khan.
