Salman Khan’s Singham Again cameo dropped amid Lawrence Bishnoi row? Internet calls it ‘bad fortune’

The much-awaited cameo of Salman Khan’s Chulbul Pandey character in Rohit Shetty’s upcoming Singham Again has been called off amid Lawrence Bishnoi’s row. Here’s what the internet thinks of this development.

Salman Khan is currently going through a low phase in his life amid the unfortunate demise of his close friend Baba Siddique and back-to-back death threats from gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. Amid all of this, it has been revealed that the actor’s much-awaited cameo as Chulbul Pandey in Singham Again has been called off. While it was a last-minute decision, the internet isn’t too pleased.

Why was Salman Khan’s cameo cancelled in Singham Again?

A Bollywood Hungama report revealed, “The one-day shoot was scheduled to take place at Golden Tobacco in Mumbai, however, owing to the sudden demise of Baba Siddiqui, the shoot was cancelled. Rohit and Ajay then had discussions internally and felt that it would be insensitive to request Salman Khan to shoot amid all the controversy.”

Also, because they were just four days away from submitting to the Censor Board, they decided to let go of this highly mounted appearance.

What does the Internet think about Salman Khan’s cameo being dropped from Singham Again?

Several users on Reddit and Twitter have called it a wrong move and an upcoming “bad fortune” for Rohit Shetty’s film. While many unanimously said that they wouldn’t be watching Singham Again anymore, another user stressed, “Oh no very sad, pura excitement hi khatam ho gaya (entire excitement has gone).” A Twitterati also commented, “Sad but nothing is more important than his safety right now so it’s fine…”

A person opined, “Singham Again would have been better with Salman but we have so many stars to look forward to, I’m excited for Akki.”

Singham Again is arriving this Diwali in the theatres with an ensemble cast including Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ranveer Singh, Akshay Kumar, Deepika Padukone, Tiger Shroff, Arjun Kapoor and Jackie Shroff among others. The movie is clashing at the box office with Kartik Aaryan’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3.

Coming back to the Lawrence Bishnoi case, then the currently jailed gangster is after Salman Khan’s life due to an alleged case involving the killing of blackbuck in 1998. Bishnoi thinks in case the actor was involved in the matter then he should have apologized by now.
