When Amitabh Bachchan praised Aishwarya Rai Bachchan for bearing labour pain for 2-3 hours during Aaradhya's birth without painkillers

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan had tied the knot in the year 2007. Later in 2011, the couple welcomed their daughter Aaradhya Bachchan. Aaradhya was born on November 16, 2011 and just a few days after her birth, Abhishek and Amitabh Bachchan had shared their happiness with the media at a press conference. While Abhishek was elated to be a dad, Big B’s excitement and happiness to become a grand-father was just unmissable.
They had distributed sweets to the media and called the media.

At that point of time, Big B had revealed how the new baby and mom are healthy and fine. He had also credited his bahu Aishwarya for being so strong and opting for a natural birth instead of C-section which is so normal now. He had further praised how she went through 2-3 hours of labour pain without any painkillers or epidural, just to have a normal delivery. He had said, “She had to struggle but I commend her that she was in acute labor for a long time, almost 2-3 hours. But she persisted, and said she wanted a normal delivery. She did not use any epidural or painkiller.”

At that point in time, Big B had revealed that the newborn baby looks like her mother Aishwarya. He had added that one can’t be sure though, as the baby’s face keeps changing every day. Although, some members of the family did feel that she had resemblance to Abhishek and Jaya.

The family had not yet named the baby at that point. It was revealed later that they’ve named her Aaradhya. With this throwback, one notices how fast time flies as Aaradhya is now a grown-up teenager.

On work front, Big B was last seen in ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ along with Prabhas and Deepika Padukone.
