In a recent interview, former actress Somy Ali, who was in a long-term relationship with Salman Khan for nearly eight years, opened up about her time with the superstar. She shared insights into her Bollywood journey, her experiences with Lawrence Bishnoi, and much more, providing a candid look at her past and the challenges she faced in the industry.

‘Salman is worse than Bishnoi’, says Somy

When IANS inquired about why Salman Khan maintains good relationships with his former girlfriends like Sangeeta Bijlani and Katrina Kaif, but not with her, Somy Ali responded thoughtfully, sharing her perspective on their past and the complexities of their relationship. Somy revealed, “Because the way Salman treated me, he did not treat anyone else. Sangeeta and Katrina were not half as badly abused by him as I was. However, he abused Aishwarya very badly. I think he had fractured Aishwarya’s shoulder. But I am not sure what he did to Katrina.”

Somy also drew a comparison between Salman Khan and Lawrence Bishnoi, stating that their contrasting approaches highlight different facets of her experiences in the industry. She elaborated on how these relationships shaped her understanding of Bollywood and the challenges within it. The diva said, “Considering what Salman did to me, I can say that Bishnoi (Lawrence) is better than him.”

She also recalled a touching moment when actress Tabu was deeply upset by her condition. “I had severe back pain and was bedridden for a long time,” she shared with the news agency. “Tabu cried when she saw me, but Salman never came to see how I was doing.” Somy revealed that only her mother and a few close friends truly know the full extent of her struggles with Salman Khan. She also shared that she is in the process of writing a book about their relationship, where she plans to open up about everything she experienced.
