While this gesture from the Bachchan family irked fans, an old tweet of Amitabh Bachchan has gone viral on Reddit, where the megastar not only thanked fans for their warm wishes for her daughter-in-law but also shared glimpses into how the family celebrated the big day

Aishwarya Rai celebrated her birthday on 1st November. Amid divorce rumours with Abhishek Bachchan, none of the Bachchan family members including her husband, Amitabh Bachchan or Shweta Bachchan wished Ash on her special day.

While this gesture from the Bachchan family irked fans, an old tweet of Big B has gone viral on Reddit, where the megastar not only thanked fans for their warm wishes for her daughter-in-law but also shared glimpses into how the family celebrated the big day.

The tweet of Big B from 2010 read, “T172 -First things first … thank you all for wishing Aishwarya on her birthday !! Have passed it on to her.. she thanks all … love.”

In another tweet, he wrote, “T171 -….family dinner at Chinese in Taj where function was held … and brought in Aishwarya Birthday ..good feel about the day..”

Abhishek and Aishwarya tied the knot on April 20, 2007 and welcomed their daughter Aaradhya Bachchan on November 16, 2011.

On the professional front, Amitabh Bachchan is basking in the success of Kalki 2898 AD, which grossed over Rs 1000 crore at the global box office. The film also featured Prabhas, Kamal Haasan, Deepika Padukone and Disha Patani in prominent roles with cameos of Dulquer Salmaan, Mrunal Thakur, SS Rajamouli and Ram Gopal Varma. It is directed by Nag Ashwin of Mahanati fame.

Big B was last seen in Rajinikanth starrer Vettaiyan, which also featured Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, Ritika Singh and Manju Warrier in prominent roles. It was directed by TJ Gnanavel of Suriya starrer Jai Bhim fame.

On Wednesday night Big B shared a post, which caused the attention of the users. About Abhishek and Aishwarya Rai’s divorce rumours

The Bachchan family has zipped their lips when it comes to talking about divorce speculations of Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai. While the Bollywood couple frequently made headlines for various reasons, Aish and Abhishek’s old videos are currently trending on social media, while netizens seem to believe about the Aishwarya-Abhishek Bachchan divorce, it is important to note that there has been no official statement given by any of the Bachchan family.

For the unversed, the couple has been close to 17 years and they welcomed their daughter Aaradhya Bachchan in 2011. The divorce rumors took center stage during the Ambani wedding where Aishwarya Rai and Aaradhya Bachchan were nowhere to be seen alongside the Bachchan family. On the other hand, Amitabh, Jaya, Abhishek, Shweta, and their kids stood as a family, and Aish decided to make a solo appearance. Later Abhishek’s liking of a divorce post fueled the rumours on social media. Since then, the couple has not seen together in public.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was last seen in public along with her daughter Aaradhya Bachchan attending the SIIMA Awards. She also won the Best Actress (Critics) Award at the award ceremony. While her daughter extended the support, no other Bachchan member was seen supporting Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.
