Abhishek Bachchan’s old video confirming divorce with Aishwarya Rai circulates again on the social media. Here’s the truth behind the clip.

'We are getting divorced...': Abhishek Bachchan announces divorce with Aishwarya Rai? What's the truth behind viral video

Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai’s divorce rumours have been circulating for a long time. However, it’s almost confirmed the lovey-dovey couple is no longer together. Their union has been loved by millions of people and even they are invested in them. Whatever they have decided as two individuals, becomes their personal choices. As they are public figures, it becomes difficult for them to show they are ‘still happy’ in a marriage.

A video of Abhishek announcing his divorce from Aishwarya went viral a couple of months back where he confessed ‘Aishwarya and I, we both have decided to get divorced. The last couple of years have been a bit weird for my daughter Aaradhya but today here I am talking about the reason behind the divorce with Aishwarya”. The video broke the social media and broke the hearts of their fans. Abhishek, too came forward and reacted to his viral video and called it deep fake.

The video of Abhishek where he announced his divorce was altered with Artificial Intelligence (AI). The clip also has a cryptic caption saying “I do not know the authenticity of the video, whether it is true or fabricated. Until now, rumours abound day after day, and none of them have spoken out.”

There are a lot of events where Abhishek and Aishwarya are not seen together. This week only Aishwarya along with daughter flew to Dubai for SIIMA Awards 2024 where she bagged Best Actress award for Ponniyin Selvan 2, directed by Mani Ratnam. She looked drop-dead gorgeous in a sparkling black and golden anarkali suit. Aaradhya, on the other hand, looked similar like her mom at the awards. She also wore a black blingy dress. She caught everyone’s attention while recording her mom’s speech.

Talking about the winning moment, Aishwarya in her thank you speech said, “It means the world to me because this was a movie so close to my heart, Ponniyin Selvan, directed by my guru Mani Ratnam. And honouring my work for the best actress as Nandini in Ponniyin Selvan is actually celebrating the work of the entire team”.
