The actress recently purchased a lavish property worth INR 17 crore located right next to her mother-in-law Anju Bhavnani’s residence in Mumbai. Deepika and her husband, actor Ranveer Singh, recently became proud parents to a baby girl on September 8, 2024. The actress was admitted to a South Mumbai hospital on September 7, and the couple shared the joyous news of their daughter’s birth the following day. Deepika was discharged from the hospital on September 15, and she returned home with her newborn and Ranveer by her side. Both parents were spotted twinning in simple yet stylish outfits as they left the hospital, ensuring a quick exit to maintain privacy for their baby girl.

During her stay at the hospital, Deepika and Ranveer were visited by close friends and family members. Among the visitors were superstar Shah Rukh Khan, who shares a close friendship with Deepika, as well as business tycoon Mukesh Ambani, his son Anant Ambani, and daughter-in-law Radhika Ambani, who all came to congratulate the couple on their new arrival.

While Deepika has not yet revealed the name of their baby girl, fans are eagerly waiting for the announcement. In a previous interview, Ranveer had expressed his excitement about having a daughter and shared that the couple had several baby names picked out, though they have kept them under wraps for now to avoid having them “stolen.”
