But it wasn’t until they worked on Mani Ratnam’s Guru that their relationship took a romantic turn.

Abhishek has shared that during his time filming in New York, he often dreamed about being married to Aishwarya. Abhishek and Aishwarya made their relationship public after their engagement in January 2007 and got married in a beautiful, traditional South Indian wedding at the Bachchan residence in April the same year. Despite being two of the biggest stars in the world, they’ve kept their love grounded, always supporting each other through the highs and lows. They welcomed their daughter Aaradhya Bachchan on November 16, 2011.
