Jaya Bachchan reveals she was happier being a homemaker

During the episode, when Navya spoke about the sacrifices women have to make for the sake of their families, Jaya objected. The veteran actress spoke about her own experience as a mother and said:

“I remember when I stopped working and everybody said, ‘Oh she’s sacrificed her career for her marriage and children’, it was not so. I was really very happy being a mother and a wife. I enjoyed that role more than what I was getting to do (in films), which is a repeat of the same thing. It was not a sacrifice at all.”
